This documentary takes place in the Caribbean island of Grand Cayman. Upon introducing the island, the storyline focuses on mangroves and their importance and additionally tells the story of the Blue iguana, a once critically endangered reptile.
However, thanks to the swift efforts of Blue Iguana conservation this remarkable species is now slowly, but surely recovering.

This film introduces us to this incredible habitat.
and gives us an intriguing insight into some of the remarkable scenes and scenarios that play out day by day on this tropical island being the core of the film, there are two additional major narratives that play throughout that touches upon humans' connection to the natural world...
through conservation efforts to save a critically endangered species, and the emphasis on the true importance mangroves hold, wherever they are found.
